About Us
Set up in the spring time of 2010 by Suki Hayes-Watkins, The Print Block is an open access community based screen printing studio available to anyone, professional printmakers, artists and beginners alike.
Based in Whitstable, Kent, The aims of The Print Block are to:
• Provide open access to printmaking resources and equipment.
• Offer a range of courses in printmaking including outreach to schools and community centres.
• Encourage and support people to develop their creativity.
• Create a space where members can come to relax, meet others, find information on exhibitions and events both locally and further afield.
• Be committed to maintaining an enjoyable, accessible, environmentally healthy and solvent-free working environment.
The Print Block is stocked with all the facilities and resources needed for water based silk screen printing, including photographic screen printing on both textiles and paper.
