After studying Fine Art Printmaking at Winchester School of Art, I moved to London and started work as an apprentice to renowned photographic printer, Danny Pope of Matchless Prints. It was here where I grew a love for printing, working for many fashion and music photographers and great names such as Eve Arnold, Linda McCartney and Cornelia Parker.
In 2000 I set up Salamander Photographic in Hoxton with fellow printer Mick Reay where we worked for many years printing C-types for the advertising, fashion and music industries. After the photography world made a massive shift towards digital, we decided it wasn't for us and I made the move to Whitstable and decided to go back to my roots and open a screen print studio.
The Print Block has now been running for 10 years and I have been lucky enough to work on projects with some fabulous artists and illustrators.
My work is greatly influenced by my photographic background and also my love for technique and new processes.
